New Pictures Woman, 40, has racked up over 60K followers by dressing like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle for NINE years

A KEEN royal fan has racked up a staggering 60,000 followers on Instagram for copying the fashion style of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

Janelle Nash, 40, from Arizona, has been dressing like members of the royal family for nine years and has spent a whopping £30,000 recreating their glamourous looks.

The stay-at-home mum spends around 10 hours a day finding cheaper versions of the royal’s clothes, and now has hundreds of items in her “royal wardrobe”.

Janelle told Fabulous Online: “I love the sense of tradition and history of the royal family.

“I love that Kate and Meghan’s fashion combines tradition and current style. What they wear is a snap shot of a time and place in history.”

The royal fanatic decided to start a style blog called Royal RepliKate back in 2010, and uploaded side-by-side photographs of her wearing nearly identical outfits to the flawless duchess.

The mum replicated Meghan’s blue floral maxi dress that she wore to the wedding of Princess Diana’s niece in June[/caption]

She explained: “I have always admired the British royal family, with Princess Diana’s fashion first interesting me.

“I first started following Kate’s fashion back in 2008 during the years she and William were dating.”

Every time the Duchess of Cambridge steps out in public, her outfits sell out within hours, leading to what has been dubbed the “Kate Middleton effect”.

And Janelle has also received lots of praise for her royal-inspired looks.

She said: “I often receive compliments on my fashion style. People frequently comment that I look so pulled together and have an elegant style.

“I have never met any royals, but it is my dream to one day be able to go to London and see Kate or Meghan at an event.”

And when it comes to picking out her dream royal outfits, Kate’s biggest fan knows exactly the ones she envies the most.

“My all-time favourite outfit of Meghan’s is the black Emilia Wickstead dress with wide straps and belt that she wore with black Aquazarra heels and Birks earrings.”
