NADIA Sawalha has confessed that the Loose Women panel are always “starving” when they attend the National Television Awards – so Stacey Solomon brings sandwiches in her handbag.
While some stars might attend swanky ceremonies with make-up and other essentials in their designer clutches, 29-year-old Stacey is prepared for her and her friends’ inevitable hunger and provides a much-needed picnic.
Speaking to the Daily Star, 54-year-old Nadia explained: “Stacey is an old head on young shoulders.
“She’s been a great addition to the show because she teaches us a lot.
“The best thing she does is bring Marmite sandwiches to the NTAs.
“The one thing viewers don’t know is we’re always f***ing starving when we’re in the audience. But thanks to Stacey we get something to eat!”
The glitzy awards show takes three hours to film and the stars do not get any food during the ceremony – so it is unsurprising thast they are left feeling a little peckish.
Loose Women is nominated for the Best Daytime Show gong at this year’s NTAs, but face stiff competition from This Morning, Sunday Brunch, Good Morning Britain, and The Jeremy Kyle Show.
This Morning have taken home the accolade for the past seven years.

Piers Morgan previously urged Good Morning Britain fans to vote for them to end Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s winning streak.
However, the Loose Women ladies are less competitive, with Jane Moore telling the Star that the group are just happy to have a “night out” and a “good laugh”.
The NTAs will take place on Tuesday 22 January
