A DISBALED woman who cannot speak or move was raped and impregnated during a horrific sex attack at the care home, a lawsuit claims.
The unnamed patient, 23, who is fed through a tube, is believed to have been sexually abused at least once at the National Mentor Healthcare in Pensacola, Florida.
The brutal attack, which happened between September 2010 and February 2018, left her with a broken hip and pregnant.
Last January, care home staff reported the assault after they found bruises on the woman’s hip and noticed that her behaviour had changed.
The lawsuit claims bosses at the facility ignored reports from concerned workers which led them to contact the Florida Adult Abuse Hotline.
That sparked a probe which revealed the vulnerable patient’s hip had been broken and that she showed signs of being violently raped.
The 23-year-old was also found to be pregnant but later miscarried the child, courts documents say.
VIOLENTLY RAPED
One of the employees at the care home is suspected of raping her, the lawsuit claims.
She has since been moved to another care facility.
The disabled young woman is unable to move her hands and arms and is non-verbal.
Documents seen by news outlet WKRG describe her as “‘totally and completely dependent on staff.”
Her distraught family are suing for at least $15,000 in compensation and have named three workers in the suit.
A spokesman for Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said that the tests on the victim “returned negative for foreign DNA.”
HUNT FOR SICK ATTACKER
They also said that leads to try and find the male attacker who raped the woman “have been exhausted.”
This comes after a car home boss in Arizona resigned after a female patient who had been in a vegetative state for 14 years gave birth after being RAPED multiple times.
Bill Timmons, Hacienda HealthCare’s CEO and president, resigned on January 7 after a report that the woman was sexually attacked at one of his facilities in Arizona.
The 29-year-old, who is a patient at the centre which cares for people with intellectual disabilities, unexpectedly gave birth on December 29.
She has been in an unresponsive vegetative state – which means a person is awake but shows no signs of awareness – for 14 years after a near-drowning incident left her partially brain dead.

The woman had been raped multiple times while being cared for at the Arizona centre, reports AzFamily.com.
A source told AzFamily: “None of the staff were aware that she was pregnant until she was pretty much giving birth.”
They said that staff became aware that the woman was giving birth when the vulnerable patient began “moaning.”
She gave birth on New Year’s Eve sparking an investigation into who was responsible for the sexual assault.
