Who is Jason Gardiner?
Jason Gardiner, 47, was born June ,11, 1971 and is an Australian choreographer, singer, and theatre producer.
He is best known for being an outspoken judge on the ITV shows Dancing on Ice, Born to Shine and Stepping Out.
He was also a judge on the first series of the BBC talent show Strictly Dance Fever.
Jason shot to fame on the Dancing On Ice panel from 2006 to 2011, before returning in 2013.
In 2006, Jason also took part in Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice, an Australian version of the hit show.
What has Jason said about returning to Dancing On Ice?
Straight-talking Jason made his comeback as judge for Dancing On Ice 2018 – and promised he would be as honest as ever.
The Sun’s Dan Wootton exclusively confirmed the news on ITV’s Lorraine.
Speaking on the show Jason said: “I am honest – I always call it as I see it but when they’re good, I give them great praise and I think I help them to improve a lot.”
“I’m not going in with preconceived ideas of how I’m going to be, you have to be there and assess it in that moment, it’s only fair to the contestants to go in there being open.
“Being a judge isn’t necessarily who I am but it’s a role I’ve got to do to get my point across.”

Who joined Jason on the judging panel on Dancing On Ice series 10?
In a change to the format, Jason was joined on the judging panel by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – who previously mentored the contestants.
Joining Jason, Jayne and Christopher on the judging panel was Ashley Banjo.
There has been quite a mixture of experts and celebs on the Ice Panel in the past.
Karen Barber, Robin Cousins, Ruthie Henshall and Nicky Slater are often seen as the best experts from previous series.
But Spice Girl Emma Bunton, dance expert Louis Spence, and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts have also judged past seasons, while Michael Ball and Angela Rippon have been among guest judges.
