Ant McPartlin has finally broken his silence on his turbulent year, his new girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett and his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.
The TV presenter, 43, who made his return to presenting for Britain's Got Talent on Friday after nearly a year off, gushed that Corbett has been 'his rock and the fundamental reason for the great change in my life.'
As well as admitting he couldn't bear the thought of watching Holly Willoughby fill in for him during I'm A Celebrity last season, Ant also revealed in the interview to The Sun, that he didn't agree with how publicly his ex Lisa Armstrong handled their split.

After first seeking rehab treatment for his addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol in 2017, Ant then pleaded guilty to drink-driving in April last year after being involved in a three-car collision.
However, smiling as he walked up on stage and hugged his co-presenter and longtime pal Declan Donnelly during the first auditions of Britain's Got Talent on Friday, Ant proved he is now a changed man.
And Ant has credited Anne-Marie for guiding him on the straight and narrow, admitting: 'She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy. I’m in the best place I’ve been in my life, to be honest with you. It’s great.'
Ant's romance with his and ex Lisa's former PA Anne-Marie was revealed in June of last year.

However, make-up artist Lisa didn't take to it well, as she massively hinted of her betrayal by tweeting: 'Yeah My Friend and OUR Pa who I let into OUR home.??'
Ant was quick back Anne-Marie by noting people 'had to be careful' when it came to judging the relationship of others.
Complimenting his girlfriend yet again, he added: ''She is the most wonderful true woman. And the way we are and when people see us together they’ll see how honest and kind and happy we make each other.'
Speaking further of ex Lisa, Ant admitted they 'don't talk' and 'haven't for a while.'
During the interview, he also hinted at not agreeing with the way Lisa handled their break-up, following a slew of 'liked' tweets regarding their failed romance and personal issues.
Admitting that posting his personal views on social media 'isn't his style'', Ant explained: 'She can live her life how she wants to live her life and say what she wants but I prefer to keep that private.'

Back in December, Lisa hit out at the 'unjust and disgraceful' decision for ITV to not renew her contract as a make-up artist, after bosses reportedly thought it was 'untenable' for her to work with Ant.
She retweeted a post that read: 'How unjust, any decent bloke would of said he wouldn’t want your career to be compromised, there’s bigger and better things for you lovely!!!'
Replying with sad face emojis, Lisa said: 'Thanks Em, not really sure what else to say.'
Ant's divorce to wife of 12 years Lisa was finalised in October, after announcing their split in January.

Ant's candid interview comes after he continued his triumphant return to work, making his arrival for the Britain's Got Talent auditions at the London Palladium on Saturday.
Ant was beaming as he jumped out of his car before heading in the theatre, after receiving a standing ovation from the audience on Friday.
It comes after Ant admitted he was 'really really emotional' as he reunited with co-host Declan for the first day of auditions, his first day back at work following his drink-drive arrest in March.

Putting on a casual display, Ant couldn't hide his beaming smile as he made his way into the theatre, sporting a low-key navy jacket and flat cap as he joined the judging panel in arriving for the auditions.
Teaming the look with simple white trainers, Ant joined his co-host Dec as they headed into the theatre.
The pair's reunion comes ten months after Ant was arrested for drink-driving in March, and following on from that the star took a break from presenting duties for the rest of 2018.

Fighting back tears, Ant addressed the crowd by saying: 'Oh god, I'm really, really emotional now. I've missed you all' as Dec hugged him.

Simon added: 'Ant welcome back. We missed you; it wasn’t the same. I mean even though Dec was brilliant, it still wasn’t the same. It would be like me not being with David, I would be happy, but not happy - if that makes sense. So on behalf of all of us, welcome back, we’re family. (Turns to audience) You are family!'
